Passive, automatic detection (no action required)

TaggID uses passive Bluetooth sensing, so pets don’t need to press, scratch, or stand on anything. Simply approaching a tagged doorway or zone is enough. The system identifies which pet it is and where they are.

Door-specific location awareness

Instead of generic “your pet is at a door, or a child has approached the pool” alerts, TaggID maps each doorway separately.

You get clear, location-based messages such as:

  • “Emily is at the garage entrance.”
  • “Nala is waiting at the side gate.”

Each door can be individually labeled, organized, and customized.

1. This is now called TaggID. What Changed?

As this idea formally started as DogCaller, we quickly realized how it needed to be upgraded to deal with more common issues and provide better life-saving solutions.
2. Does my dog have to press anything?

Nope! That’s the beauty of it. DogCaller works through proximity. When your dog approaches the door wearing their RFID tag, the responder senses them and sends a notification—no training or button pushing required.

3. Can it work for multiple dogs, people, and items?

Absolutely. Each dog gets a unique tag, and TaggID knows who’s who. You can even customize notifications per pet—like “Riley’s at the back door” or “Peaches wants in.”

4. What do I need to install TaggID™?

Just stick the responder near your door—no drilling, no tools. It’s peel-and-stick, battery-powered, and ready to go in minutes.
5. What kind of alerts can I get?

Choose from smartphone notifications, chimes, voice alerts through smart speakers or other smart home devices, or even blinking lights. Customize it your way.
6. Will my dog understand how it works?

You’d be surprised. Most dogs catch on fast. They go to the door, the alert sounds and it just clicks. It’s instinct, not instruction.
7. Can I use it on more than one door?

Yes! Just place additional responders at other doors. TaggID can track which door your dog is at and alert you accordingly.

8. What if I’m not home?

TaggID works wherever you are. As long as you're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data, you’ll get alerts—whether you’re in bed, at work, or halfway across town.

9. Is it waterproof?
